Ranging from a lean $40 per month - and topping out at a whopping figure of $400 per month - it is little wonder that people are ever so disappointed when they don't see regular and improving results as they battle away on the treadmills and weight circuit every few days.
Indeed, a recent survey on gym participants discovered that a whopping 60% of regular gym goers reported only very small increases in their fitness as a result of their continued efforts to get buff and healthy. This is a fairly dismal figure - and certainly paints an accurate picture of the deficiencies of gym memberships for the average person.

The fact of the matter is that gym instructors and owners want you to achieve the best results possible, because this will then lead on to a continuation of your gym membership - and hence more money in the gyms pocket at the end of the day. So, now the question is not - "are gyms productive?" - but instead, "how due gyms maximize and optimize your routine to ensure that you get the best results in the shortest space of time?".
Clearly the truth here is they need to show you how to use the machines and weights properly - because one thing which is very well known in the muscle building industry is that technique is everything.
